Hello!

I’m John Lord.

I love learning, I am passionate about your challenges and how I can help you to look at things a little bit differently.

I’ve spent over 14 years working in corporate Learning and Development teams, starting as a trainer in a utility company and working my way up to the dream job of being the Global Learning Design Manager in the Retailer Academy at one of the top luxury automotive brands, Bentley Motors.

My journey.

As a petrolhead and lover of all thing’s luxury, the automotive and luxury world is where my passion lies. It’s also the reason why it’s my specialism here at Lord Learning Co.

But it’s not all luxury leather and revving cars, yes I have enjoyed my journey so far but I have learned a lot about the challenges that corporate Learning and Development teams face.

From scope creep, “knowledge dump” eLearning modules and poor processes, to challenging stakeholders and proving ROI, I’ve experienced and supported it all. But I’m thankful because it means I can now help others to make a difference.

Lord Learning Co.

I started Lord Learning Co. because I wanted to support more people to create action and performance focused learning experiences.

I have a design background, car design to be specific, so I have always embraced combining my appetite for creating genuinely useful learning tools with my lifelong passion for design.

So, I decided to follow my creative heart and sensible mind to help other businesses to create action-based, relevant learning solutions that help to improve performance.

Since starting Lord Learning Co. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands such as Bentley Motors, Mercedes-Benz UK, Lamborghini, Porsche GB, Toyota Motors Europe and Volvo.
